RPT-United 777-200 suffers engine failure but safely returns to Denver airport

WASHINGTON, Feb 20 (Reuters) - A United Airlinesflight bound for Honolulu suffered a right engine failure onSaturday shortly after departing Denver International Airport,scattering debris returning safely to the airport, the FederalAviation Administration said.

Broomfield, Colorado police posted photos of pieces ofdebris from the Boeing 777-200 airplane but there were noimmediate reports of any injuries on the ground.
