The Rush: Summer heats up NBA Draft fashion
Summer time…and the livin’s easy…unless your name is Jameis Winston. The Bucs QB is expected to serve a three-game suspension this season, stemming from a 2016 allegation that Winston groped an Uber driver. That definitely calls for a time out.
The start of summer fared better for hooper Deandre Ayton, who was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the top pick in the NBA Draft. Mazel tov! While the big man from the University of Arizona headlined the night, many of his counterparts proved to be scene stealers, thanks to their funky fashion choices. You won’t be seeing Mike Trout in the Angels’ outfield these days. The slugger was diagnosed with a sprained index finger and is now relegated to playing DH. Not a bad deal, all things considered.
