The Winter Park, Florida-based company said it had profit of 45 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 45 cents per share.
The restaurant chain posted revenue of $116.5 million in the period, topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $115.1 million.
Ruth's Hospitality shares have increased 21 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 32 percent in the last 12 months.
