Technical services provider Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) recently announced that it has won a multiple-award contract from the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic). The contract requires SAIC to provide its entire spectrum of services and solutions, related to the full system life-cycle support, for SSC Atlantic's networking and computing mission.
This indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (:IDIQ) contract has a 1-year performance period, coupled with four one-year options. Moreover, the multiple-award contract is valued at $890 million, considering all the options are exercised. Science Applications International is one of the 14 awardees of this multiple-award contract.
SSC Atlantic designs, acquires, engineers, and maintains systems, sensor connections, cyber network infrastructures and knowledge management services. These services help the company to provide reliable information to different groups.
As per the terms of the contract, SAIC will offer transport, computing and infrastructure support services related to command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR).

SAIC has a large pipeline of new projects and continues to win deals at regular intervals. The contract wins are key catalysts with the potential to augment the company’s revenues.
