Sam’s Club Is Now Offering Wedding Flowers—In One Giant Box
Couples pressed for time—and money—know that every little bit helps when it comes to saving both during wedding planning season. Sam’s Club, the megastore perhaps best known for bargain packs of paper towels and Tupperware, is hoping to help to-be-weds in the run-up to their big day by offering a huge time and money-saving service: boxed florals.
According to a release, Sam’s Club posits that brides can save anywhere from 20 to 40 percent when they buy in bulk (and possibly even more depending upon the variety!), which is why it offers more than 1,600 different floral options for brides looking to spend less on flowers for their bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and so on.
One of the most popular options offered on SamsClub.com are the curated, handmade wedding collections, which feature all the pieces necessary for a beautiful wedding, all packaged neatly into one giant box.
The 17-piece wedding collection includes one bridal bouquet, four bridesmaids bouquets, one throwaway bouquet (ideal for the bouquet toss at the end of the night), six boutonnieres, four corsages, one box of petals, and one set of clippers, just in case any of the pieces need adjusting. Prices for the collection range from $200 to $1,200, depending upon the flowers used.
There are also, helpfully, a wide range of color palettes and flower types to compliment a variety of weddings and preferences, including a “Rustic Chic” collection with light blue and grey blooms to offset largely green bouquets; a “Bohemian Chic” collection with roses mixed in with more eclectic blooms; and even the more classic “White Rose” option.
Sam’s Club even offers up a newer “elopement” package that includes a smaller number of pieces, perfect for a more intimate ceremony. Suggested lead time for all orders is delivery two days prior to the wedding, with brides able to order up to 30 days prior to when they want their flowers delivered.
