Samsung is reportedly gearing up to release a smartphone that folds into a Z shape.
According to tech forum TweakTown, the Galaxy Z will join Samsung's arsenal of foldable phones, offering a wider screen than the Galaxy Fold.
Samsung first launched the Galaxy Fold in April 2019, which was taken off the market shortly after for being extremely fragile.
The second-generation version was released to the public in September with a stronger shell and six cameras. The Fold is now on the market for about $2,000.
Samsung is expected to reveal its Galaxy S20 devices on Feb. 11 at its Unpacked 2020 event. Consumers are expecting the tech company to unveil products with compact design, 5G capability and 8K-compatible cameras.
