PARIS (AP) _ Sanofi (SNY) on Monday reported second-quarter profit of $1.14 billion.
On a per-share basis, the Paris-based company said it had net income of 45 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 74 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 74 cents per share.
The drugmaker posted revenue of $9.53 billion in the period.
Sanofi shares have risen 18 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 12 percent in the last 12 months.
