Sarah Jessica Parker Is Letting You Play Carrie Bradshaw Dress-Up With Her Latest Shoe Launch·InStyle

Sarah Jessica Parker's eponymous shoe line is no stranger to Sex and the City references, but her new release may just give fans what they didn't know they wanted. Diehard SATC viewers can probably recall the episode "Escape from New York," when Carrie Bradshaw, along with her pals Miranda and Samantha, sojourned to Los Angeles. In a now-iconic scene, Carrie can be seen wearing mismatched Christian Louboutin sandals. Now, thanks to SJP Collection (the shoe brand and the woman herself), anyone can get a set of clashing heels.

In the original episode, Carrie is wearing one red sandal and one metallic teal sandal. They're the same style, but they're two different colors.

The shoes were brought to the internet's attention again when Instagram account EveryOutfitOnSATC posted about them. Parker explained it in an Instagram, comment on the account, writing, "We had 2 pairs of what I believe are @louboutinworld scrappy [sic] sandals. Pat and I chose to do 1 of each. Perhaps because both were so delicious in color and seemed in harmony with the dress but also because we simply loved doing 1 of each. Sending my best. And hope this is a satisfactory answer. Xxx."

The new shoe is actually a collab between the account and Parker, who leaned into the look and announced her spin on it with her own Instagram post showing off the Rogue sandal. One's pink and one's yellow, but it's the same Carrie-approved look. The shoes feature a towering stiletto heel and rhinestone buckle.

The shoes will retail for $385 and according to Bustle, Parker adds that 20% of the sale price will benefit The Empowerment Plan. Based in Detroit, the nonprofit trains low-income individuals to manufacture sleeping bag coats. So far, The Empowerment Plan has provided more than 35,000 coats worldwide.

Shoes for a good cause? Carrie Bradshaw would have no problem getting behind that.
