‘Saturday Night Live’ Ratings Steady With Host Kevin Hart, Foo Fighters & Trump

Last night’s telecast of Saturday Night Live, with Kevin Hart in his third time hosting, Alec Baldwin in a Christmas-themed Donald Trump skit and musical guest Foo Fighters, drew a 4.6 household Live+Same Day rating in the metered markets and a 2.0 in adults 18-49 in the markets with local people meters.

That was up a tenth in households from last week’s telecast hosted by James Franco. The 4.6 in households was the best SNL delivery since Nov. 4 (4.7 with host Larry David and musical guest Miley Cyrus) and ties the Oct. 14 edition as the #2 highest rated of the season. In 18-49, last’s night’s show was down a tenth from the preliminary result last week, even with the final.

Saturday Night Live was the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in both metered-market households and 18-49 in the local people meters, topping all primetime programs by a wide margin.
