SCF Equipment Leasing 2021-1 LLC/SCF Equipment Leasing Canada 2021-1 Limited Partnership -- Moody's - North American Equipment Lease and Loan ABS: Percentage of assets with unrated obligors in concentrated and mixed pools

Announcement: Moody's - North American Equipment Lease and Loan ABS: Percentage of assets with unrated obligors in concentrated and mixed poolsGlobal Credit Research - 28 Feb 2022New York, February 28, 2022 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") reviews the available information on the collateral backing North American equipment lease and loan ABS transactions that have concentrated or mixed pools (granular pools with a few disproportionately large obligors) to monitor the percentage of assets with unrated obligors in connection with its ratings of such transactions. An obligor is considered unrated if none of the individual measures of credit quality, as described in Moody's Equipment Lease and Loan Securitizations Methodology (the Methodology), is available for that obligor. As explained in the Methodology, Moody's will not maintain a rating on such a transaction if the total percentage of assets with unrated obligors exceeds 25% of the outstanding pool balance for 90 consecutive days. For a list of relevant North American transactions and their current percentage of assets with unrated obligors by outstanding pool balance, please see the Excel summary spreadsheet available on moodys.com athttp://www.moodys.com/researchdocumentcontentpage.aspx?docid=PBS_1320688The principal methodology used in rating equipment lease and loan ABS transactions is "Equipment Lease and Loan Securitizations Methodology" published in August 2021 and available at https://www.moodys.com/researchdocumentcontentpage.aspx?docid=PBS_1243607. Alternatively, please see the Rating Methodologies page on www.moodys.com for a copy of this methodology. This publication does not announce a credit rating action.
