Schweitzer-Mauduit: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) _ Schweitzer-Mauduit International Inc. (SWM) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $41 million.

The Alpharetta, Georgia-based company said it had net income of $1.33 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains and to account for discontinued operations, were 77 cents per share.

The paper and reconstituted tobacco company posted revenue of $260.3 million in the period.

Schweitzer-Mauduit expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.30 to $3.45 per share.

Schweitzer-Mauduit shares have fallen 28 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 25 percent in the last 12 months.
