Sciton Launches TV Advertising Pilot Driven By Strong Consumer And Physician Demand

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sciton, a top manufacturer of lasers and light sources to the aesthetic medical markets, is pleased to announce the launch of its first ever Direct to Consumer advertising campaign. Sciton has experienced significant growth behind its HFL (Hybrid Fractional Laser) technology, as evidenced by the strong physician preference for Sciton products at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) this past weekend. During the session titled, "What are People Using? What do People Want?" each panelist was asked to choose their favorite device in their practice. Several physicians named the Joule platform, specifically citing the Halo and Resurfacing treatments. According to panelist Dr. Jason Pozner, "4 out of 6 doctors on the Hot Topics panel at ASAPS recommend the Sciton laser."

No other aesthetic laser platform offers this ability to deliver both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in a single hand piece. This results in unparalleled results and comfort, something no other laser, past or present, has been able to achieve. This technology is found in both Halo for skin revitalization and diVa for vaginal revitalization.

To continue to fuel growth of this groundbreaking technology, Sciton is launching its first ever Direct-to-Consumer advertising campaign. With increasing distribution for both Halo and diVa, Sciton is now poised to test TV advertising to drive patient awareness about Sciton's Hybrid Fractional Laser technology.  The advertising pilot will focus on both diVa and Halo, although in separate cities across the United States.  The pilot will involve a 30-second spot on popular stations such as HGTV and Bravo. In addition, Pandora radio ads will be added to further build these two new brands.

VP of Marketing, Rick Mendez, says, "With so much growing support for Sciton from within the aesthetic medical community, we knew it was time to bring more awareness of our treatments directly to patients. We are very excited to introduce new consumer markets to Halo and diVa – Our goal will be to learn how to advertise efficiently so we make our customers even more successful as more patients learn about these amazing treatments."
