WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) _ SeaChange International Inc. (SEAC) on Thursday reported a loss of $6.5 million in its fiscal first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Waltham, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents. Losses, adjusted for severance costs and stock option expense, came to 14 cents per share.
The video software company posted revenue of $6.9 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $1.88. A year ago, they were trading at $1.43.
