HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (AP) _ Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores Inc. (SHOS) on Thursday reported a loss of $11 million in its fiscal second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of 48 cents. Losses, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, were 80 cents per share.
The appliance, hardware and tool retailer posted revenue of $168.6 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $3.79. A year ago, they were trading at $3.25.
