SeaWorld (SEAS) Beats Q2 Earnings and Revenue Estimates

SeaWorld (SEAS) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.62 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.59 per share. This compares to earnings of $1.59 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 1.89%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this theme park operator would post a loss of $0.15 per share when it actually produced a loss of $0.12, delivering a surprise of 20%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates four times.

SeaWorld , which belongs to the Zacks Leisure and Recreation Services industry, posted revenues of $504.82 million for the quarter ended June 2022, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.58%.
