SYLMAR, Calif. (AP) _ Second Sight Medical Products Inc. (EYES) on Tuesday reported a loss of $8.4 million in its second quarter.
The Sylmar, California-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 6 cents per share.
The maker of camera-based retinal implants posted revenue of $1.3 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit 78 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.64.
