Selena Gomez may be single but she's already found her one true love, her muse, and collaborator Julia Michaels. The "Lose You To Love Me" singer and her famous songwriter bestie solidified their friendship status by getting matching tattoos, but not before they shared a kiss that drove fans wild. Gomez, 27, and Michaels, 26, documented their tattoo journey on their individual social media accounts on Tuesday. Each got an arrow that points to each other when they hold hands. “It’s tatted… my arrow points to you forever,” Gomez wrote on her Instagram while showing a snap of the girlfriends smiling and gazing down at their tattoos.
Their Arrow Tattoos!
“Always to you baby,” Michaels captioned the photo on her own social media. The tattoo artist, Reis, was just as excited as the superstars. Sharing a photo with the singers and his brother, he wrote, “So last night I got to tattoo @selenagomez while my main brother @londonreese tattooed his bestie @juliamichaels , safe to say last night was super rad and meaningful for me! London [you’re] the f—ing man and I’ll never forget the way you put me on! Going up gang in full effect!” Their friendship tattoos come just one day after Selena Gomez joined Julia Michaels on the stage during her show at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on Monday. They performed Michael's hit “Anxiety,” which the girls wrote together alongside Ian Kirkpatrick and Scott Harris.
Michaels documented their performance which ended with the girls sharing a kiss onstage. Posting the snap of them locking lips, Gomez simply captioned it with a heart. She also shared tons of video from their performance together and wrote, “I’m kind of convinced these last few days aren’t real. Thank you @selenagomez for the most epic headline show I’ve ever played. I love you beyond words and I’m so happy we finally got to sing our baby together :)”
Gomez shared a ton more photos from their tattoo experience including pics of the entire process from beginning to end. She also posted one of the friends holding hands showing the arrows pointing towards each other.
Who's Julia Michaels?
