Selena Gomez Seemingly Explains Why She Deleted Her Most Liked Insta Pic

From Seventeen

Selena Gomez seems to have a pretty complicated relationship with Instagram. First, there's the fact that she has the most followed account on the social media site, but then, last month, we learned the singer doesn't even know the password to her Insta!

In an interview with Elle, Selena said that when she wants to post a pic, she simply goes on her friend's phone, who has access to the account. “I haven’t been on the internet in months," she said. "I have no apps on my phone, no photo editing apps. I have Peak, a brain game."

And then, on Friday, Selena's most-liked pic disappeared. Into thin air! The photo of her sipping a drink during New York Fashion Week, which landed the spot of the 13th most liked pic on Instagram, was deleted from her grid with no explanation.

All of our questions may have been answered, however, on Sunday when Selena posted a selfie of herself. In the photo's caption, she explained that she was stepping back from social media for a little while.

"Update: taking a social media break. Again," she wrote. "As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi."

We hope Sel finds her peace and gets back to posting fire pics ASAP!
