Senate could pass fiscal cliff deal, Reuters reports
A bill that would enable the country to avoid the spending cuts and most of the tax increases that would kick in next year could pass the Senate, as long as Republicans agree not to filibuster the bill, members of Congress have said, according to Reuters. The bill would then have to be passed by a bipartisan coalition in the House, the news service added.
