The Marion, New York-based company said it had a loss of 90 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.27 per share.
The fruit and vegetable company posted revenue of $342.4 million in the period.
Seneca Foods shares have decreased 12 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 6 percent in the last 12 months.
