MARION, N.Y. (AP) _ Seneca Foods Corp. (SENEA) on Friday reported a loss of $14.2 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Marion, New York-based company said it had a loss of $1.46. Losses, adjusted for restructuring costs, were 45 cents per share.
The fruit and vegetable company posted revenue of $299.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $13.8 million, or $1.41 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.31 billion.
Seneca Foods shares have fallen 12 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $27, a drop of 14 percent in the last 12 months.
