NEW YORK (AP) _ Seritage Growth Properties (SRG) on Thursday reported a loss in a key measure in its third quarter.
The real estate investment trust, based in New York, said it had a funds from operations loss of $7.8 million, or 14 cents per share, in the period.
Funds from operations is a closely watched measure in the REIT industry. It takes net income and adds back items such as depreciation and amortization.
The company said it had a loss of $12.1 million, or 33 cents per share.
The real estate investment trust, based in New York, posted revenue of $47.6 million in the period.
The company's shares have increased 34% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $43.48, a rise of 14% in the last 12 months.
