SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) _ ServiceNow Inc. (NOW) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $598.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Santa Clara, California-based company said it had profit of $3.03. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 96 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 14 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 88 cents per share.
The maker of software that automates companies' technology operations posted revenue of $951.8 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $942.3 million.
For the year, the company reported net income of $626.7 million, or $3.18 per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $3.46 billion.
ServiceNow shares have climbed 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $312.93, a climb of 69% in the last 12 months.
