On September 2, 2020, Jiayin issued a press release announcing the Company’s unaudited financial and operating results for the second quarter of 2020. Among other results, Jiayin reported revenue for the quarter of $34.7 million, missing consensus estimates by approximately $9.08 million.

On this news, Jiayin’s stock price fell $0.85 per share, or 22.67%, to close at $2.90 per share on September 2, 2020.
