Sharon Osbourne hits out at 'rude and entitled' younger generation: 'They have very bad social skills'

Sharon Osbourne has hit out at “rude and entitled” teens with “very bad social skills” in a scathing rant against the younger generation.

The former X Factor judge, known for her outspoken nature, proved she wasn’t the biggest fan of tech-laden Generation Z.

“It is just life skills and social skills. And this generation that’s coming up – 16, 17, 18-year-olds – they have very bad social skills,” Osbourne told the Daily Star.

“With all the tech, they're just so rude and entitled.”

The 66-year-old attributes the “poor skills” to growing up surrounded by smartphones and computers, sometimes using tablets from a young age.

Osbourne has previously hit headlines for her harsh criticism when she slammed singing X Factor hopefuls as “little s****” who sing “karaoke”.

Her tirade against the contestants was also part of a wider foul-mouthed rant at show boss Simon Cowell, who she said will do “whatever” to get his “fat face on TV”.

Last month, Osbourne thanked fans for their “touching thoughtfulness” after her husband Ozzy was admitted to hospital suffering from complications from the flu and bronchitis.

“He's doing great,” she said of the 70-year-old on chat show The Talk. “He's out of ICU and he's doing good. He's breathing on his own.

“I just want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has reached out with good wishes. [Ozzy] is overcome by the response that he’s had, and it’s kind of bittersweet because he’s so overwhelmed with it but he’s sad too.”

The rocker was forced to postpone the UK and European leg on his No More Tours 2 tour after falling ill, telling fans that he was “completely devastated”. He later told PEOPLE that he was in talks to reschedule dates for September.
