WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (AP) _ SI Financial Group Inc. (SIFI) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $1.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Willimantic, Connecticut-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents. Earnings, adjusted for pretax expenses, were 20 cents per share.
The bank holding company for Savings Institute Bank and Trust posted revenue of $16.1 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $13.4 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $5.2 million, or 44 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $54.1 million.
SI Financial shares have dropped 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $14.40, a drop of 2 percent in the last 12 months.
