MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Sleep Number Corp. (SNBR) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $28.1 million.
The Minneapolis-based company said it had profit of 94 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 81 cents per share.
The seller of beds, mattresses and bedding products posted revenue of $474.8 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $465.3 million.
Sleep Number expects full-year earnings to be $2.45 to $2.75 per share.
Sleep Number shares have increased 47% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $46.73, an increase of 43% in the last 12 months.
