Get a sneak peek at Disneyland's new Pixar Pier opening Saturday

Disneyland Resort in California is opening the gates to its highly anticipated Pixar Pier this weekend, where guests will be able to parachute into the worlds of "The Incredibles," "Toy Story" and "Inside Out."

On Saturday, some of the most popular animated characters from the big screen will come to life at Disney California Adventure Park's Pixar Pier, which will feature family-friendly rides, interactive attractions, games, and restaurants.

The first of four themed neighborhoods is home to the Parr family, better known as The Incredibles, where the Incredicoaster is poised to draw long lines. The ride takes guests on a wild goose chase after baby Jack-Jack, a storyline that connects with the latest cinematic release of "Incredibles 2" which hit theaters last week.

After visiting the Parrs, guests can check in on Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the gang at Toy Story Boardwalk, which recreates Andy's backyard across 11 acres.

The major attractions here include a Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster and Alien Swirling Saucers.

Along the Pixar Promenade, visitors are invited to play Pixar-themed games like the Luna Star Catcher, Heimlich's Candy Corn Toss, WALL•E Space Race and Bullseye Stallion Stampede. Guests can also get a bird's eye view of the park aboard the Pixar Pal-A-Round, a Ferris wheel of 24 gondolas.

And over at Inside Out Headquarters, visitors can meet the characters from "Inside Out" like Joy and Sadness.
