Sohu.com: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

BEIJING (AP) _ Sohu.com Limited (SOHU) on Friday reported fourth-quarter net income of $14.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Beijing-based company said it had profit of 37 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.50 per share.

The operator of a popular Chinese Web portal posted revenue of $482.2 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $160.1 million, or $4.13 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.88 billion.

For the current quarter ending in April, Sohu.com expects its results to range from a loss of $1.55 per share to a loss of $1.30 per share.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $390 million to $415 million for the fiscal first quarter.

Sohu.com shares have climbed 19 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 46 percent in the last 12 months.
