Sonos: Fiscal 2Q Earnings Snapshot

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) _ Sonos Inc. (SONO) on Thursday reported a loss of $22.8 million in its fiscal second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Santa Barbara, California-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 35 cents per share.

The maker of wireless speakers and home sound systems posted revenue of $210.2 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $215.6 million.

Sonos shares have risen 4.5% since the beginning of the year.
