SOS! How to Watch ‘Glee’ Now That It’s Leaving Netflix

I have terrible news. Not only is Glee leaving Netflix on December 1, but Glee is leaving Amazon Prime on December 1, too. Now I have to go on a freakin' quest to find Glee if I ever want to, for random example, put on the Madonna episode for fun. How the heck are past as future Gleeks supposed to get their fix now? How am I supposed to come up with a hot take about how Sue Sylvester was actually the hero, or devote an entire rewatch to finding as many of those creepy background dummies as possible now? Let's investigate, I GUESS.

Where can I stream it for free now?

Great question. It's a little unclear!! Internationally to the United States, Glee is available on Disney+ specifically in Latin America, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. So it's possible that US audiences will get Glee on Disney+ soon. However, I kind of feel like we'd know. The Mouse streamer really wants you to know what it's up to at all times. They made up a holiday called Disney+ Day and everything and didn't mention Glee once on that sacred day. This is the kind of thing they would shout from the rooftops.

So... where *might* it end up?

Personally, I think the best bet for where Glee will end up is Hulu. I remember from the great Love, Victor shuffle of 2020 that Hulu and Disney are in cahoots, and if Disney owns the streaming rights to Glee now but needs somewhere a bit more mature to place it, Hulu is where it's at. If you need a subscription to Hulu, you can grab that right here:

How can I watch Glee before it finds a new forever home?

You can still, thankfully, buy season passes on Amazon, Youtube, Google Play, and Vudu. They include the Director's Cut of the pilot, so you're not missing out on anything you had on Netflix or Prime. You can also purchase individual episodes if you've got a smaller hankering. I highly recommend the Madonna episode. You can also go old school and buy the DVD box sets. Hit up your local used book/movie store, or Best Buy, or start trolling online holiday sales. You never know what you may find.

I feel like it's safe to assume that Glee will land on its feet at some streaming network or another soon enough. But in the meantime there are options. Thank Will Schuester for that. (Do not thank him... for anything... ever.)
