Free-agent forward Anthony Tolliver has agreed to a one-year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves worth in the $5 million-6 million range, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Tolliver, a 6-foot-8 sharpshooter, received significant interest on the open market from the Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks. Tolliver hosted a meeting with top Clippers officials on Sunday night in Dallas, league sources said.
Tolliver played 79 games for the Pistons last season, scoring 8.9 points per game and shooting 43.6 percent from 3-point range.
In 10 seasons with San Antonio, Portland, Golden State, Minnesota, Atlanta, Charlotte, Phoenix, Detroit and Sacramento, Tolliver has averaged 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds.
