CONCORD, N.C. (AP) _ Speedway Motorsports Inc. (TRK) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $31.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Concord, North Carolina-based company said it had profit of 78 cents. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, were 75 cents per share.

The racetrack operator posted revenue of $165.8 million in the period.

Speedway expects full-year earnings in the range of $1 to $1.20 per share.

Speedway shares have declined 6.5 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 17 percent in the last 12 months.
