CONCORD, N.C. (AP) _ Speedway Motorsports Inc. (TRK) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $12.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Concord, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 30 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 27 cents per share.
The racetrack operator posted revenue of $56.4 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $40.4 million, or 99 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $461.9 million.
Speedway expects full-year earnings in the range of 90 cents to $1.10 per share, with revenue in the range of $450 million to $470 million.
Speedway shares have climbed roughly 4 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen nearly 9 percent in the last 12 months.
