TYSONS CORNER, Va. (AP) -- Spherix, a provider of biotech and information technology services, on Tuesday named Michael Pollack as its interim chief financial officer.
Pollack is a partner at KBL LLP, a certified public accounting and business advisory services firm. He is currently in charge of KBL's corporate finance unit.
Spherix Inc.'s former chief financial officer, Robert Clayton, left the company in late June after deciding not to extend his employment there. President Robert Lodder left Spherix around the same time. Harvey Kesner has been the company's interim CEO since the end of February.
Lightly traded shares of Spherix fell 6 cents to $6.95 in morning trading.
