Square names new CFO, Good news for Netflix, Delta under pressure

Here are the companies the Yahoo Finance team is watching for you today.

A new member of the C-suite at Square. Amrita Ahuja is joining as the new CFO. She's spent 8-years at Activision Blizzard, most recently as the CFO of Blizzard Entertainment. Ahuja replaces Sarah Friar who announced her departure in October.

Netflix is getting a big vote of confidence from Goldman Sachs. Analysts there have added the streaming service to their conviction buy list. They call Netflix "one of the best risk/reward propositions in the internet sector." They also believe Netflix will continue to beat expectations on subscriber growth.

Delta isn't flying quite as high this morning. The airline cut its revenue forecast saying fare revenue wasn't quite as strong as expected over the holidays. Delta now says it expects unit revenue will only grow 3% in the 4th quarter. The news is weighing on other airline stocks as well.

Tesla is heading to China. The automaker says it will begin delivering Model 3s there in March. The starting price is about $72,000. Late last year, Tesla slashed the prices of the Model X and Model S in China by upwards of 25% to boost demand. The company's also working on a $2 billion factory in Shanghai.

Some big money for the creator of Pokemon Go. Niantic has just closed a $190 million funding round. That values the company at nearly $4 billion and comes as Niantic gets ready to release its next big game "Harry Potter: Wizards Unite." That Augmented Reality game is due out some time this year.
