SRC Energy: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

DENVER (AP) _ SRC Energy Inc. (SRCI) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $62.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Denver-based company said it had profit of 26 cents.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 24 cents per share.

The oil and gas company posted revenue of $161 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $155.2 million.

SRC Energy shares have declined 16 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $7.18, a decrease of 25 percent in the last 12 months.
