Stacey Dooley is reported to have signed a ‘golden handcuffs’ deal with the BBC worth £250,000.

The Strictly Come Dancing champion and documentary maker is believed to have agreed to a new contract that means she will exclusively work for the corporation and not appear on any rival channels.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “She was happy to stay loyal to the BBC where she has done the vast bulk of her serious work before Strictly so was happy to sign up exclusively.
