Star Trek Reunion! Zachary Quinto Supports Chris Pine at I Am the Night Premiere

In a special treat for Star Trek fans, stars of the latest movies in the franchise, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, had a sweet reunion during the premiere of Pine’s new TV show. The two posed together on Tuesday night while celebrating Pine’s I Am the Night, a miniseries directed by Wonder Woman‘s Patty Jenkins that premieres on TNT Jan. 28.
Pine, 38, wore a stylish black three-piece suit with an open-collared white shirt underneath, while Quinto, 41, kept it more casual in a dark blue blazer with a plaid sweater and black pants. The two smiled softly for the camera as they posed the the Metrograph in New York City.
The pair starred together in 2009’s Star Trek, 2013’s Star Trek Into the Darkness and 2016’s Star Trek Beyond.
Pine and Jenkins reunited for the series after first working together during 2017’s Wonder Woman, which went on to smash box office records for a female-led and directed superhero movie. The two also recently wrapped filming the movie’s sequel Wonder Woman: 1984.
Pine surprised fans by popping up in a still from the sequel’s set in June, since his character Steve Trevor appeared to have died in the first movie.
Pedro Pascal, who has appeared in Game of Thrones and Narcos, is set to appear in the sequel. Kristen Wiig is also on board, as Jenkins confirmed in March on Twitter.

In 2017, Gadot talked to PEOPLE about the impact she hoped the first Wonder Woman had.
“It’s amazing that girls are exposed to the visual of strong women that are fighting so beautifully and having this amazing sisterhood relationship and caring to each other, but yet they can hold a sword and ride a horse,” she said.
“But you can’t only empower the women,” Gadot noted. “You’ve got to educate the men too. This movie is for everyone. It’s for boys to go to the movies and see that women can be amazing and badass and strong and inspiring, and not only me.”
