Major celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez can make a killing off a single Instagram post, but stars from reality TV shows like “The Bachelor” and the “Real Housewives” franchises — who might not have the same level of name recognition — still can earn millions per year from Instagram’s sponsored posts.

According to research conducted by Mediakix, top reality television stars earn between $5,000 and $15,000 for a single Instagram post. The average reality TV star in this tier posted 7.4 sponsored posts per month, which means on the low end they would earn $37,000 per month or $444,000 in a year from social media marketing. If their sponsored posts pay in the mid-to-high range, they could earn even more: $888,000 to $1.33 million per year.

Scheana Marie

  • Estimated cost per post: $1,500
  • Estimated monthly income from posts: $1,500

“Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Marie charges $1,500 to share a sponsored post with her 1 million followers, according to Jezebel. Marie posts an average of one sponsored post per month, with sponsors including Thred Up and DIFF Eyewear. At that rate, the Bravo star could earn $18,000 a year from Instagram posts.

Lisa Rinna

The reality star — who posts about one sponsored post per month — earns an average of $3,000 per post, which translates to an annual Insta income of about $36,000.

Jenny McCarthy

Actress and host Jenny McCarthy can earn $3,500 for a single Instagram sponsored ad, according to Jezebel. The Sirius XM personality — who has 1.2 million followers — has sponsorships with Teami Blends and Fab Fit Fun, and posts about one sponsored Instagram post per month. At that rate, her Instagram earnings can be as much as $42,000 for the year.

In a given month, the mom and business owner posts about four sponsored posts for brands that include Thred Up, Bamboobies and Hooray Heroes children’s books, so she can rake in $6,000 from Instagram in a month, or about $72,000 in a year.

With about four sponsored posts per month, Pratt can make $28,000 in a month, or $336,000 a year.

Kylie Jenner

Jenner’s sponsors include Teami Blends, Calvin Klein and Bondi Sands, and she posts about two sponsored posts per month. That means the reality star can earn up to $24 million in a year from Instagram profits alone.
