Welcome back, Stephen Curry.

So much for easing back into the action. Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr planned to limit his star guard’s minutes Saturday night against the Memphis Grizzlies in his first game back from an ankle injury.

And he did. It’s what Curry did with those minutes in a 141-128 win over the Memphis Grizzlies that was extraordinary.

Vintage Steph showed up fresh off a three-week-long layoff to post 38 points with 4 rebounds and 3 assists on 10-of-13 shooting from behind the arc.

And he did it all in less than 26 minutes.

He was clearly ready to go from the start with this halfcourt give-and-go with Draymond Green for an easy layup. Go ahead, give him the hockey assist.

That ankle looks just fine.

But as with most things Curry, Saturday night was about the long-distance shots.

Like this one.

This one.

And this one.

Curry is back and primed, and the Warriors look as terrifying as ever. Good luck to everyone if they manage to stay healthy.
