THE WOODLANDS, Texas (AP) _ Sterling Construction Co. (STRL) on Monday reported second-quarter profit of $7.8 million.
The The Woodlands, Texas-based company said it had net income of 29 cents per share.
The civil construction company posted revenue of $264.1 million in the period.
Sterling Construction expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.01 billion to $1.02 billion.
Sterling Construction shares have climbed 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $11.88, a decline of 15% in the last 12 months.
