THE WOODLANDS, Texas (AP) _ Sterling Construction Co. (STRL) on Monday reported third-quarter earnings of $8 million.
On a per-share basis, the The Woodlands, Texas-based company said it had net income of 30 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 37 cents per share.
The civil construction company posted revenue of $291.7 million in the period.
Sterling Construction shares have climbed 54% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $16.79, a climb of 40% in the last 12 months.
