Stitch Fix (SFIX) Q2 Earnings Surpass Estimates

Stitch Fix (SFIX) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.11 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.06 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.12 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 83.33%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this online clothing styling service would post a loss of $0.06 per share when it actually produced break-even earnings, delivering a surprise of 100%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates four times.

Stitch Fix, which belongs to the Zacks Retail - Apparel and Shoes industry, posted revenues of $451.78 million for the quarter ended January 2020, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.23%. This compares to year-ago revenues of $370.28 million. The company has topped consensus revenue estimates three times over the last four quarters.
