Syros Pharmaceuticals after it reported clinical results for its AML treatment, Ulta Bauty as Jefferies cut its Q1 EPS forecasts for the cosmetics retailer, and Spark Therapeutics – share slipping as the biopharma name reported weaker than expected results for its hemophilia treatment.
Stocks in the green today include Fitbit as it reached a “global settlement” with former rival Jawbone to end all outstanding litigation, Canadian Solar as CEO Shawn Qu offered to take the solar company private in a deal valued at at $1.07 billion, and Overstock – shares popping on the back of bitcoin, as the discount online site has been a big proponent of the cryptocurrency, allowing users to pay with it.
