These stores are open Christmas for last-minute gifts, forgotten ingredients: CVS, Walgreens, Albertsons, 7-Eleven
Didn't wrap up your holiday shopping? You may be out of luck if you were counting on a last-minute run through the aisles of Walmart or Target.
Both chains are closed Christmas along with the majority of other major retailers and grocery stores.
But drugstores including CVS and Walgreens will be open as will several convenience stores including 7-Eleven, Wawa and Cumberland Farms if you need a gallon of milk, gifts or just a cup of coffee.
Cumberland Farms is even offering an incentive for making a Christmas trip – free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Visit one of the chain's nearly 600 locations between 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. for a free cup.

Until this year, Christmas was the one day that Walmart, the nation's largest retailer, closed all of its stores. Walmart also kept stores closed on Thanksgiving for the first time since the late 1980s amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Hours can vary and not all locations will be open. In some cases, store websites have not been updated to reflect holiday hours, so call your closest location.
More businesses open: Additional stores including small businesses may also be open Friday. Check before heading out.
