Strong results drive Ulta Salon higher
Earnings, Sales Beat Expectations
Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance earned $0.70 a share in the third quarter on sales of $601 million. Analysts had only expected $0.67 and $588.4 million, respectively. That beat has ULTA shares up by 14 percent before the opening bell on my tradeMONSTER platform.
Intel Climbs on Jefferies Upgrade
Intel was upgraded to "buy" from "hold" at Jefferies, which sees promise in the semiconductor company's low-power chips. The target price went from $27 to $30. INTC climbs 2 percent in the premarket.
