Ask Jean-Marie Eveillard and Health Care Investor Mindy Perry a Question

- By Holly LaFon

This year's Value Conference (still a few tickets left!) is coming up in a few weeks.

Next week, two speakers of the speakers will give a preview of their talks in short audio interviews for the website. They will also answer a few questions from readers. To ask yours, put it in the comments section below.

The guests, Mindy Perry and Jean-Marie Eveillard, are both formidable, award-winning investors who have produced extraordinary long-term investment returns.

About the speakers

Mindy Perry, CPA, CFA, is the managing director and portfolio manager for Manulife Asset Management. She has built the Global Healthcare Strategy for the firm and grown the strategy from $5 million seed capital to well over $2 billion in eight years.

Ms. Perry runs a relatively concentrated portfolio of stocks with strong emphasis on the quality of the businesses and downside protection. She graduated with an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from Beijing University.

Jean-Marie became a senior advisor to the First Eagle Investment (Trades, Portfolio) Management Global Value team in March 2009 and now serves as board trustee to the First Eagle Funds. From 1979-2004, Jean-Marie was the portfolio manager for the First Eagle funds.

Jean-Marie was named Morningstar's International Manager of the Year in 2001, and in 2003 received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Morningstar.

Mr. Eveillard will give the keynote talk at the conference and Ms. Perry will present a talk titled "Healthcare Investing: What to Look For, Policy Issues and Two Ideas."

To ask a question, post it in the comments section below. We'll try to incorporate it into the podcast on April 18 and 19. Look out for the new episodes on the home page soon!
