SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Super Micro Computer Inc. (SMCI) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $23.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the San Jose, California-based company said it had net income of 46 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 57 cents per share.
The server technology company posted revenue of $870.9 million in the period.
Super Micro expects full-year earnings in the range of 35 cents to 55 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $770 million to $830 million.
Super Micro shares have risen 18% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $28.26, an increase of 80% in the last 12 months.
