RED BANK, N.J. (AP) _ Sutherland Asset Management Corp. (SLD) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $24.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Red Bank, New Jersey-based company said it had profit of 83 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 35 cents per share.
The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $31.5 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $15.8 million.
Sutherland Asset Management shares have climbed 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $13.60, a drop of 10 percent in the last 12 months.
